Centennial Anniversary Event for Voula Featuring Drone Show and Concert
The Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni celebrates a century of Voula's history on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a major audiovisual performance, a drone show, and a photo exhibition.
A major anniversary event is organized by the Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 20:00, at Imia Square, to celebrate the completion of one hundred years since the founding of modern Voula in 1926. This audiovisual performance will feature artists Grigoris Valtinos, Foteini Darra, and Thodoris Voutsikakis.
The program includes narration and music, directed by Grigoris Valtinos and musically supervised by Giorgos Papachristoudis. A specially designed drone show will also illuminate the sky with symbols from the city's century-long journey. Music and dance events, along with treats, will begin at 18:00 in the square with the participation of the local Trade Association.
Concurrently, from Friday, October 2, to Sunday, October 4, a photo exhibition titled "100 Years of Voula – With Color & Motion" curated by Stefanos Chatzistefanou will be hosted at the Spiritual Center of Voula, open to the public from 17:00 to 21:00.
