Milos: Daily Limit of 1,500 Cruise Passengers in Adamas

The Municipal Port Fund of Milos has unanimously decided to maintain a maximum limit of 1,500 cruise passengers per day at the port of Adamas. The decision aims to reduce the pressure exerted on the island's infrastructure and road network by the simultaneous arrival of large numbers of visitors.

According to the Port Fund's reasoning, the simultaneous disembarkation of thousands of tourists causes traffic congestion in Adamas and on the roads leading to major attractions, while affecting the daily life of residents. During the discussion, the Port Captain proposed an even lower limit, though no specific number was defined.

The limit of 1,500 passengers is not permanent and will be re-evaluated in the future, once the necessary reception and service infrastructure for visitors on the island is completed.
