The Mykonos planning office remains sealed following prosecutorial intervention. The building is under police guard and access to its records is restricted.
According to ERTnews, the investigation concerns outstanding prosecutorial orders and complaints involving planning cases.
The municipal authority has said that part of the issue concerns the operation of the e-poleodomia system. Mykonos mayor Christos Veronis told ERT that staff from the Syros planning service had also been requested to assist.
The planned inspection will examine both the records and the service's electronic system. The planning office remains closed while that process is pending.
