South Aegean Region: Participation of Local Producers in the 13th EXPOTROF Exhibition

The South Aegean Region is organizing the participation of local island producers in the 13th EXPOTROF Food and Beverage Exhibition, which will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2027, at the Mediterranean Exhibition Center (MEC Paiania) in Athens. This initiative is part of the policy to promote local products and is directly linked to the Region's candidacy for the title of World Region of Gastronomy 2028.

Producers who process or package local agricultural products using local raw materials can apply for participation in the Region's pavilion until Sunday, October 25, 2026. Applications must be submitted digitally through the form on the Region's website, and no applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Participants will have the opportunity to create a digital pavilion free of charge and hold free digital B2B meetings. However, those wishing to have in-person meetings with Hosted Buyers must cover the cost themselves. Selection will be based on quality criteria, and exclusion from the current and future exhibitions is foreseen for those who do not meet certification requirements or cancel after approval.
