Cultural Activity and Book Donation for Children by 'Friends of Tinos' Association
The 'Friends of Tinos' Association organized an interactive event at the Cultural Foundation of Tinos, announcing a donation of signed books to the island's schools.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, an event by the 'Friends of Tinos' Association took place at the Cultural Foundation of Tinos. It featured an experiential workshop for parents and children, designed by art teacher and author Kyriakos Mourtzis, followed by the presentation of his book 'The Line that Became a Curve'.
As part of this initiative, the Association announced the donation of two copies of the book, signed by the author, to all kindergartens, primary schools, and the nursery school of Tinos in order to enrich their libraries.
During the opening, the President of 'Friends of Tinos', Giorgos Roussos, highlighted the importance of contributing to the island's youth. The event was made possible through the sponsorship of the Cultural Foundation of Tinos, under the presidency of Filippos Pierros.
