Sifnos: Final day of the 18th Cycladic Gastronomy Festival
Artemonas and Platis Gialos host the final events of the three-day celebration of food and Cycladic tradition.
The 18th Nikolaos Tselementes Cycladic Gastronomy Festival concludes on Saturday, September 19 in Sifnos.
The third day includes a seaside cooking event at Platis Gialos around midday, followed by the main programme in Artemonas later in the day.
The festival brings together representatives from islands and other parts of Greece. Local recipes are combined with music, dance and presentations of traditional practices.
The Municipality of Sifnos has approved its participation in the event and related financial support.
Running from September 17 to 19, the festival has become an established meeting point for gastronomy and local culture in the Cyclades.
