Paros Municipal Water Company Board to Meet on October 20

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Paros (DEYAP) has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 09:00. The meeting will take place at the company's new meeting room in Kounados, Paroikia.

Among the discussion topics is the approval of the 4th revised budget table for the collection and transport of wastewater from the settlements of Lefkes and Kostos, as well as the approval of studies for replacing main water supply pipelines in Marpissa and restoring concrete roads and walls.

In the desalination sector, the board will examine the approval of tender minutes for the procurement and installation of new pumps at the Peponas desalination plant, the establishment of a reception committee for seawater desalination units producing 600 cubic meters of potable water daily each, and a request for a contract extension for a consultant on desalination unit licensing.

Additionally, the meeting will cover the final acceptance of studies regarding environmental permit renewals and risk management plans for wastewater treatment plants in Paroikia and Naoussa, the procurement of a light truck with a crane, technical specifications for a holistic feasibility study on water and sewerage projects, and consumer applications.
