Traditional Musical Walk in Firostefani and Kontochori

This year's series of traditional walks in Santorini concludes on Wednesday, September 30, at 18:00. This final route aims to bring residents and visitors together through the island's music, songs, and traditional dances.

The walk will start at the Holy Temple of Agios Gerasimos in Firostefani. Participants will head towards Kontochori, accompanied by traditional costumes, serenades, and local tunes.

Argyris Arvanitis on violin and Antonakis Xagoraris on lute will provide the musical accompaniment. Dance groups from the cultural associations of Kamari, Akrotiri, Vothonas, and Kontochori will also participate.

The route will end at the Emmanuel Lignos Folklore Museum in Kontochori. At the finish point, a traditional treat and celebration will follow for all attendees.
