Santorini: Guinness World Record Set as 370 People Taste Lionfish in Vlychada

A Guinness World Record was set in Santorini on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as 370 people tasted lionfish (Pterois miles) during an environmental and gastronomic event.
The initiative was organized by the University of the Aegean at the Santo 1911 venue in Vlychada, forming part of the European research project GuardIAS.
