Modifications and cancellations were announced for island connections with Piraeus and Rafina for Friday, October 30.

Significant changes are occurring in ferry connections across the Cyclades due to a 24-hour strike called by seamen unions for Friday, October 30, 2026. The modifications include cancellations of morning routes, departure reschedulings for late at night, and alterations to inter-island journeys.

According to Blue Star Ferries, morning departures on Friday from Piraeus for BLUE STAR 1 (to Paros, Naxos, Thira, Ios) and BLUE STAR PAROS (to Syros, Tinos, Mykonos) are canceled, requiring ticket changes. Conversely, following the end of the strike late Friday night, vessels including BLUE STAR MYCONOS, BLUE STAR CHIOS, BLUE STAR NAXOS, SUPERFAST XI, ARIADNE, and ELYROS will depart, with island arrivals taking place early Saturday morning, October 31, without requiring ticket changes.

Meanwhile, the vessel ARTEMIS moved its departure from Friday to Thursday, October 29 at 17:00 toward Kea, Kythnos, and Syros. Seajets announced cancellations for CHAMPION JET 2 and CHAMPION JET 3, as well as route modifications for EUROCHAMPION JET, SUPERJET 2, and SUPERSTAR. Passengers are advised to confirm details with travel agencies or ferry companies, as further updates may follow.
