Revival of Traditional Raki Distillation in Komiaki, Naxos

The revival of the traditional raki distillation ('rakitzo') will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 13:00 in Vrysi tou Gkisime Square in Komiaki, Naxos. The event is organized by the Women's Association of Komiaki and the Cultural Center of Koronida, focusing on the viticultural traditions of the village.

During the event, attendees will observe the traditional distillation process, while the program features fresh raki ('protoraki'), local treats, and traditional songs from Naxos.
