The Municipality of Antiparos announced the conclusion of this year's restoration works by archaeologist Yannos Kouragios' team, with Saturday, October 3, marking the final day at the site.

Restoration and recovery works at the archaeological site of Despotiko, adjacent to Antiparos, have been completed for 2026. The works were carried out by the archaeological team under the direction of archaeologist Yannos Kouragios, continuing the long-term effort to research and promote this historical site.

According to an official press release issued by the Municipality of Antiparos, Saturday, October 3, marks the final day of the archaeological team's presence at the site for this season. The municipal authority expressed its gratitude to the head and members of the team for their work, highlighting the site's importance for the cultural heritage of the area.
