The 40-cent per liter subsidy is valid for deliveries through November 15, 2026.

Orders for heating oil in Tinos have surged as consumers rush to fulfill their needs before the current subsidy expires. According to local fuel station distributors, delivery schedules are operating at full capacity, with deliveries being carried out late into the evening.

The subsidy amounts to 40 cents per liter—20 cents from the state and 20 cents from refineries—and applies to deliveries made through November 15, 2026. No official announcements have been made regarding the framework after November 16.

Indicatively, a delivery receipt dated November 2, 2026, in Tinos for 1,000 liters of heating oil showed a price of 1.629 euros per liter including VAT and the subsidy. After a fuel station discount of 20 euros, the final amount payable came to 1,609 euros. Without the 40-cent subsidy, the cost for the same quantity is estimated at nearly 2,000 euros.

For proper receipt and subsequent claims for the heating allowance, an invoice or receipt stating the tax registration number (AFM) and electricity supply number of the residence is required, while checking that the dispenser meter is zeroed before delivery begins is recommended.
