6.4 Million Euros Funded for Waste Dump Restoration in Cyclades and Other Islands

The Ministry of Environment call concerns inactive illegal waste dumps in Sifnos, Mykonos, Tinos, Kalymnos, Paxos, and Patmos.
The restoration of six inactive uncontrolled waste disposal sites (HADA) across six islands, including Sifnos, Mykonos, and Tinos, is entering its final stretch.
This step follows a decision by Minister of Environment and Energy Stavros Papastavrou to issue a call for funding totaling 6.4 million euros from the ministry's Sectoral Development Program.
In addition to the three Cycladic islands, the project covers the restoration of waste dump sites in Kalymnos, Paxos, and Patmos.
