The Municipality of Antiparos issued recommendations to residents and business owners regarding waste management, following incidents of uncontrolled dumping in various areas of the settlement.
According to the municipal announcement, no waste collection takes place on Sundays, and citizens are requested not to leave trash in bins on that day, as well as to avoid leaving bags outside bins, on roads or sidewalks.
Additionally, the municipality clarifies that disposing of bulky items, such as furniture, mattresses, and wood, is not allowed without prior communication with the competent service. Uncontrolled waste disposal is a violation subject to strict fines under existing legislation and the Local Cleanliness Regulations.
