Kimolos: Festive events for Saint Methodia with traditional celebration
The Municipality of Kimolos invites residents and visitors to the celebration of Saint Methodia, which will include religious services and a cultural event with island music at Kampos Square.
The Mayor of Kimolos, Konstantinos Ventouris, and the Municipal Council invite everyone to participate in the festive events honoring the memory of Saint Methodia. The religious and cultural activities are scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Following the completion of Vespers and the procession of the Holy Icon and Holy Relics, a traditional celebration will take place at Kampos Square. The musical performance for the evening will be hosted by 'Adelfia Galanou' with a live island music program.
This initiative is co-organized by the Municipality, local professionals, and residents of Kimolos, aiming to promote the island's tradition and hospitality. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to taste local products in the settlement of Chorio.
