Mykonos: Specifications Approved for Leasing Three Private Trucks for Waste Management

The Mayor of Mykonos, Christos Veronis, approved the technical specifications for leasing three private heavy-goods vehicles. The trucks are intended to cover the operational needs of the Mykonos Municipality Cleanliness Department for a duration of 12 months.
The decision, signed on October 5, 2026, is based on the technical study conducted by the Directorate of Environment and Technical Personnel. The required approvals from the Decentralized Administration of the Aegean and the multi-year expenditure authorization have already been secured.
Funding for leasing these professional waste management vehicles will be covered by the designated appropriations of the 2026 Mykonos municipal budget.
