Digital Application for the Volcanoes of Santorini and Milos Released by EAGME

The Greek Hellenic Authority of Geological and Mining Research (EAGME) has launched a new digital application titled 'Volcanoes of Greece' via the Geotreasures platform, detailing the geological evolution of Aegean volcanic complexes.

The application includes digital tours, interactive maps, and scientific material on the volcanic centers of the South Aegean Volcanic Arc, focusing among other areas on Santorini and Milos.

The content is based on EAGME's research, with contributions from volcanologist Dr. Georgios Vougioukalakis, providing free access to geospatial data through the authority's Geoportal.
