Sifnos: Geologist Ioannis Basiakos Declared Honorary Citizen
The honorary distinction was presented to the emeritus researcher during an information event for the "Metallon Topoi II" project in Artemonas.
During a special ceremony held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Municipality of Sifnos declared Dr. Geologist and Emeritus Researcher Ioannis Basiakos an honorary citizen.
The title was presented to the emeritus researcher of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the "Marianthi Simou" Cultural Center in Artemonas, in the framework of an information session organized for the "Metallon Topoi II" project.
