The annual service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the private chapel located at the entrance of the village, which dates back to at least 1642.

On Friday, October 9, at 6:00 p.m., the annual Holy Liturgy will take place at the chapel of Saint Michael (Mikaelos) in Smardakito, Tinos. This small, white private chapel is situated at the entrance of the village within a private property, and currently belongs to Marios Kritikos, who oversees the continuation of this annual tradition.

The Catholic feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael is celebrated on September 29, a day when Tarampados and Aetofolia celebrated this year, with Smardakito following with its own liturgy this Friday.

The chapel carries nearly four centuries of documented history. According to historical records, the earliest written testimony dates back to 1642 by Bishop Nikolaos Rigos, while subsequent wills and documents trace the ownership from the Foskolos family to the Dasyras family, along with past obligations for holding four liturgies annually and lighting the chapel's oil lamp every Saturday.
