Sources

Mykonea monitors journalistic sources, municipalities, public authorities, ministries, organisations, announcements and other publicly accessible evidence.

Source identity and reliability are considered according to the subject.

Sourcing is not republication

Using a third-party article as evidence does not mean automatically republishing the original text.

Mykonea’s normal process is an independently worded synthesis based on verifiable information.

Multiple sources

When several publishers cover the same event, Mykonea may compare and cluster related reports to avoid multiple near-identical stories.

Attribution

Sources are identified or linked where required or useful to readers.

Exclusive information, quotations or claims originating with another publisher are attributed to that source.

Photos and visual material

Third-party photographs, video and graphics are not considered free to reuse simply because they are accessible online.

Mykonea prefers its own, licensed, public-domain or originally produced visual material.

AI-generated images are used as illustrations, not as photographic evidence of a real event.

Republication and syndication

Full or near-full republication of third-party text is not Mykonea’s normal workflow.

Legally licensed syndication or explicitly permitted republication, if used, is treated separately with clear attribution and appropriate indexing controls.

Rights requests

A rights holder who believes material has been used incorrectly may contact the publication with the relevant URL and rights information.

Documented requests are reviewed and, where appropriate, material is corrected, replaced or removed.
