Concerns Over Decreasing Student Population in Andros
Former Prefect and Deputy Mayor Dimitris Laskaris expresses strong concern over the continuous shrinkage of the student population on Andros.
The downward trend of the student population in Andros has been highlighted in a statement by former Prefect and former Deputy Mayor, Dimitris Laskaris. According to his remarks, the number of students on the island shows an annual decline of 15%.
Alongside his concerns regarding demographics and the future of the island, Mr. Laskaris commented on the lack of new projects, mentioning the installation of handrails in the alleys as an exception and congratulating the municipality for this specific addition.
