A scheduled power outage has been announced for Monday, September 28, from 09:30 to 14:00, affecting parts of Southern Naxos and the island of Irakleia. According to DEDDIE, the outage is necessary to perform technical maintenance on the grid, aiming to improve reliability.
In Naxos, the affected areas are Pyrgaki, Agiassos, and Kalantos, alongside the entire island of Irakleia. The intervention in Irakleia is particularly significant, as the island faced severe power supply issues during the summer season.
Consumers are advised that power restoration may occur without prior notice, even before the scheduled end time. For safety reasons, all electrical installations must be treated as live, and approaching any downed cables or grid components is strictly prohibited.
