Municipality of Mykonos: Decisions on Lifeguard Services, Tuition Fees, and Cultural Spending

The Municipality of Mykonos is proceeding with a recommendation to amend its contract with the company 'BAYLINE SERVICES-LIFEGUARD ACADEMY OF GREECE'. The amendment concerns extending lifeguard coverage on popular beaches across the island from October 1 to October 31, 2026, alongside an increase in the financial scope of the original contract dated August 5, 2026.

In parallel, an expenditure of 74,000 euros was approved for music instrument teaching services, following a request by the Department of Culture on September 9, 2026. Additionally, a smaller expenditure of 496 euros was approved for sound equipment installation and photography services related to cultural activities.

Finally, a decision was initiated regarding the proposal to the Municipal Council for determining tuition fees at the Municipal Music School of Mykonos for the 2026-2027 school year, based on a proposal submitted by the Department of Culture on September 16, 2026.
