Heavy rainfall caused serious issues on Saturday afternoon in Skiathos. The island's streets were turned into rivers, while debris accumulated at various points of the road network.
According to data from meteo.gr, around 19:00 the rain was torrential, exceeding 130 millimeters within a single hour. Additionally, power outages were reported in some of the island's villages, though the fire service had not received any calls for assistance at that time.
