ESK Cyclades: Basketball Championships Adjusted Due to Ferry Schedules and Court Availability

The board of directors of the Cyclades Basketball Clubs Association (ESK Cyclades) held an emergency meeting on Monday, November 2, regarding the progress of local championships. The association decided to continue matches that can be conducted, adapting the schedule based on prevailing conditions.

Game planning is affected by changes in ferry itineraries that hinder team travel, as well as sports facility availability. In Santorini, the DAPPOS Indoor Hall was unavailable on specific dates in September and October due to municipality events, while AO Thiras commitments were also factored in.

Additionally, no available court had been secured in Naxos as of the date of the announcement, with ESK Cyclades expressing hope for resolution by the following weekend. The association requested understanding and cooperation from member clubs for the smooth conduct of the games.
