Weather change starting Friday with rain and temperature drop

A new weather system from the northwest is expected to cause a shift in the weather starting Friday. The fair weather of previous days is receding, giving way to rain, storms, and a temperature drop, with the phenomena persisting until Sunday.

According to meteorologist and former director of EMY, Thodoris Kolydas, Saturday and Sunday are the two days requiring increased monitoring. Forecast models indicate high levels of rainfall, a point also confirmed by the director of research at the National Observatory of Athens, Kostas Lagouvardos, who describes Saturday as a difficult day.
