Greece holds the first place in its League A group following a 2-1 away win against Serbia and a draw between Netherlands and Germany.
Greece started its Nations League A campaign successfully, securing a 2-1 away win against Serbia. This victory, combined with the draw in the other group match, puts the Greek team alone at the top of the standings.
In the match between Netherlands and Germany, the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw. The German side, with Juergen Klopp making his debut on their bench, took the lead in the 32nd minute with a shot by Nmecha. The Netherlands, featuring a debut by Xavi, pushed back in the second half and equalized in the 92nd minute with a volley by Gakpo.
Following the completion of the first round of matches, Greece leads the group with three points. Germany and the Netherlands follow with one point each, while Serbia is at the bottom of the table with zero points.
