New Study Examines Digital Evolution of Technical Professions in Greece

The service professional platform Douleutaras, in collaboration with the E-Commerce and E-Business Research Center (ELTRUN) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, has presented a new study. This initiative focuses on more than 4,200 technicians from 90 different specialties working with the platform, capturing the adoption of technology in the sector.

The findings show that the technical sector is entering a phase of digital maturity, with online presence and digital tools increasingly integrated into daily operations. Nevertheless, staff shortages remain the greatest obstacle for professionals. Meanwhile, online reviews play a critical role, as over 50% of these professionals acquire the majority of their clientele through them.
