Temporary Weather Improvement and Good Conditions Until Friday
Following two days of rainfall, the weather has temporarily improved with returning sunshine, and fair conditions are expected to persist until Friday morning.
The return of sunshine after two days of rainfall allowed residents and visitors in the southern suburbs of Athens to take advantage of warm temperatures and visit beaches, such as in Flisvos, Alimos, and Glyfada, where temperatures locally exceeded 26 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorologist and research director of the National Observatory of Athens, Kostas Lagouvardos, the favorable weather conditions are expected to continue through Thursday and into Friday morning.
