Pilgrimage Visit of the Metropolis of Nea Ionia to Tinos
Believers and clergy attended the Holy Liturgy at the Church of Evangelistria and visited the Kechrovouni Monastery.
A pilgrimage to Tinos was carried out by faithful and clergy from the municipalities of the Holy Metropolis of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Heraklion, and Chalcedon, led by Metropolitan Gabriel.
With the permission of Metropolitan Dorotheos II of Syros and Tinos, a Holy Liturgy was celebrated at the Church of Evangelistria, attended by Protosyncellus Archimandrite Epifanios Arvanitis, priests, and deacons. Ecclesiastical hymns were performed by the church cantors directed by chief cantor Marios Kyriakou.
As part of the visit, the delegation visited the Monastery of the 'Lady of the Angels' in Kechrovouni, where they were welcomed by Abbess Iouliani and the monastic sisterhood.
