Santorini: Property Purchased in Exo Gonia for Municipal Water Company Facilities
The 4,412 sq.m. plot was acquired through funding provided by the Loulas & Evangelos Nomikos Foundation.
The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Thira (DEYATH) has acquired property for the construction of new building facilities. The purchase contract was signed on October 20, 2026, by the president of DEYATH, Minas Kafieris.
The property is located in the Exo Gonia local community, next to the new desalination plant in the Agia Paraskevi area. It covers a total area of 4,412 sq.m. and holds a building permit for 2,475 sq.m. The purchase was funded by the Loulas & Evangelos Nomikos Foundation.
The new facilities will house the administrative services, warehouses, equipment, and technical workshops of DEYATH, establishing a unified operational center.
