Meeting at Tinos Town Hall on Infrastructure Restoration and Civil Protection

A working meeting was held at Tinos Town Hall between Mayor Panagiotis Krontiras, municipal officials, and the Secretary General for Civil Protection Nikos Papaefstathiou, who visited the island accompanied by local Fire Service leadership.
The main focus of the meeting was the implementation progress of restoration projects following the declaration of a state of emergency on Tinos. The decision had been issued to address infrastructure damage, coastal erosion, and landslides caused by severe weather events.
Additionally, officials reviewed the fire season outcomes and discussed priorities ahead of the flood protection season. The prospect of establishing a local Civil Protection volunteer group was also addressed.
