Heating Oil Prices Start Between 1.70 and 1.75 Euros per Liter in the Cyclades

Higher prices on the islands are attributed to transport distances, while subsidy advance payments are expected by the end of December.
The initial distribution price for heating oil in the Cyclades islands ranges between 1.70 and 1.75 euros per liter, showing a variance compared to major urban centers and the rest of mainland Greece. This price difference is attributed to distinct local pricing policies and transport distances affecting each area.
According to fuel station representative estimates, the heating allowance is increased by 30% compared to the previous period for past recipients. Advance payments to eligible beneficiaries are scheduled by the end of December, covering oil purchases made from October 15 onwards.
