A.O. Thiras in Athens for Final Pre-Season Friendly Matches

The preparation of A.O. Thiras for the start of the 2026–2027 Volley League championship is entering its final phase, with the Santorini team scheduled to play its last two away friendly matches in Athens.
The team's delegation departs by air on Friday morning, October 9, bound for Athens and subsequently Voula. There, at 17:00, they will face A.S.P. Thetis Voulas at the "Georgios Gennimatas" Indoor Gym.
On Saturday, October 10, at 13:00, A.O. Thiras will complete its pre-season friendly schedule against AONNNE Amazones at the "Stelios Kalaitzis" Indoor Gym in Nea Erythraia.
The team's head coach, Manolis Skoulikaris, noted that these matches represent the final tests following six previous games against Greek and foreign clubs. The coaching staff aims to evaluate the players' readiness and adjust final details one week prior to the start of official league competitions.
