Turkish Airlines has finalized an agreement with Boeing for the acquisition of up to 150 737 MAX family aircraft, signed in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two parties had been in negotiations for this procurement since 2025.
The core agreement involves the purchase of 100 Boeing 737-8 aircraft, alongside an option for an additional 50 aircraft from the 737 MAX series. The terms also include the option to select the larger 737-10 variant, allowing the airline to adjust capacity based on passenger traffic.
