Tinos: 145,000 Euro Donation Approved for Pallada Playground

The donation for the reconstruction of the playground in the Pallada area of Chora, Tinos, has received official approval. During its board meeting on September 8, 2026, the Municipal Port Fund of Tinos unanimously accepted the proposal from the TAKIS ILIOPOULOS FOUNDATION, under decision number 81/2026.

The indicative budget for the donation is approximately 145,000 euros. The donation covers the supply and installation of certified playground equipment, the construction of a cast safety floor, synthetic turf installation, new fencing, auxiliary equipment, and the final certification of the area. The foundation will pay the selected contractors and suppliers directly.

During the discussion, board members noted that the acceptance of the donation must not conceal any other transaction with the foundation or any companies directly associated with it. The President of the Board was authorized to sign the donation contract.
