Tinos: Operation of Elderly Day Care Center Extended Until End of 2029

A unanimous decision by the Municipal Committee secured the continuation of the day care center, while upgrades are planned for the island's KAPI senior center.
The Municipal Committee of Tinos recently secured the continuation of the municipality's Elderly Day Care Center (KIFI) until December 31, 2029, through a unanimous decision. This development ensures the stable provision of care services to the island's elderly residents for the coming years.
Alongside the extension of the Day Care Center, the Municipality of Tinos plans to upgrade the local Open Protection Center for the Elderly (KAPI). According to Deputy Mayor Penelope Trigoni, this intervention will focus on improving facilities, as well as enhancing creative activity and entertainment programs for the members.
