The First Santorini Rap Fest to Take Place in Imerovigli with Free Entry
A new self-organized music festival makes its debut on Saturday, September 26, in Imerovigli, Santorini.
The first Santorini Rap Fest is scheduled for Saturday evening, September 26, in Santorini. The music event will take place in the courtyard of the Imerovigli community hall, starting at 20:30 with free admission for the public.
The stage will host artists from both the island and other parts of Greece. The lineup includes Babibis and Dros from Crete, the act xa.os, and Santa Peace, a local crew formed through street freestyles at Sarpaki Square in Santorini. Misterfine from Corinth will also perform, followed by a closing set from the band Anentaktos, delivering socially conscious rap with live instruments.
The festival is entirely self-organized. The creators aim to establish a steady meeting point for the local rap scene, with plans to expand the event annually by incorporating more activities centered around hip hop culture.
