The Municipality of Tinos has signed the contract for the repair of road damages in the settlement of Agios Ioannis Porto, with the works moving into the implementation phase. The project, with a total budget of 65,672.74 euros including VAT, aims to improve road usability and traffic safety in the area.
The works are based on a study by the Municipality's Technical Service and include removing damaged concrete, clearing debris, and installing new reinforced concrete with a thickness of 15 centimeters. The total intervention area is estimated at approximately 1,027 square meters, using around 153 cubic meters of concrete to address erosion, local settling, and cracking.
The direct assignment was awarded to contractor Antonios Foskolos, while supervision of the project and safety compliance will be handled by a civil engineer from the Municipality's Technical Service. The contractual timeframe for completing the works is three months from their commencement.
