Autumn Weather in the Cyclades with Gale-Force Winds Up to 8 Beaufort
A change in the weather with a noticeable drop in temperature, strong northern winds, and local rain or thunderstorms is expected to affect the Cyclades over the coming days.
Strengthening northern winds in the Aegean and a drop in temperature are forecast for the coming days, with the Cyclades being affected by autumn-like conditions. According to forecasts by meteorologists Chrysostomos Parano and Klearchos Marousakis, a strong northern current will prevail in the area, reaching intensities of 7 to 8 Beaufort.
On Tuesday, northern winds in the Cyclades are expected to blow at 6 to 7 Beaufort, with a small probability of passing rain. The weather shift will become more noticeable on Wednesday, as rain and local thunderstorms may occur from midday towards the afternoon and night, mainly in the western parts of the island complex.
At the same time, gale-force winds will maintain their intensity at 7 to 8 Beaufort throughout Wednesday and continue into the following days. Meteorologists advise caution regarding maritime travel in the Aegean, as the strong northern winds will affect the entire sea area.
